    Some other people on wordpress.com have 7, as well. I suspect that is the global ranking of wordpress.com site that keeps your site so high.

    I don’t know, but wordpress.com has pr 6 and also other blogs more linked through the wp network, like the matt’s one, has pr 6 or less.

    Subdomains are treated separately – I just ran the PR check again, and you are definitely a PR7 :) [on the other hand, the 'other' PR checker still says 7 on the comments page]

    the other PR counter check the homepage (fullo.wordpress.com) and not the single page as the second..

    A couple PR6 links and then one link from a PR8 can give you PR7
